Nanyanjiang Intercity Railway is a high-speed railway connecting Nanjing, Jurong, Changzhou, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang, Changshu and Taicang. It is an important part of the intercity network in the Medium and Long Term Railway Network Planning (2016-2030), the backbone line of the intercity rail transit network in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta, the second intercity railway of Shanghai-Nanjing Corridor, and the auxiliary passenger passage of Shanghai-Nanjing Corridor.
