The main channel of Ningbo Zhoushan Port is located in the middle of Zhoushan Islands in Zhejiang Province, connecting five islands, including Fuji Island, Zhoushan Island, Changbai Island, Daishan Island and Yushan Island. The total length is 36.777 km. It is designed according to the standard of two-way four lane expressway and is planned to be completed in 2021. After completion, it will be connected with Ningbo–Zhoushan Expressway, making the total construction mileage of Zhoushan Island Connection Project reach 86.68 kilometers, spanning eight islands with ten bridges.
